Regular eye tests are about more than just helping you to see, an eye examination can also help identify other general health problems. An eye test can ensure your prescription is up-to-date and also monitor early signs of eye disease, including glaucoma and cataracts. It can also help detect other health-related conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure. Eye tests should form part of your overall health-care. Our optometrists will advise you on how often your eyes should be tested, depending on your individual needs. For most people eye examinations should be done at least once every two years.
